Amber Dimoff, violin
Amber Dimoff, violinist, received her Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude, from Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory and her Master of Music degree, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University.  After her studies she joined the San Antonio Symphony and was a member for 3 years before moving to Seattle, Washington.  Music endeavors in the Pacific Northwest included performing with the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Northwest Chamber Orchestra, as well as recording several movie sound tracks. After moving to Ohio, Ms. Dimoff began performing with the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Ballet Orchestra, the Canton Symphony, the Chautauqua Symphony, the Trinity Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Opera and later Opera Cleveland, the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory Bach Festival, the Blossom Festival Orchestra, the Cleveland Pops, and was a founding member of both Red {an orchestra} and City Music. Ms. Dimoff is a member of the Akron Symphony, Akron Baroque, and the Grammy award winning Cleveland Chamber Orchestra and is an associate musician with the Columbus Symphony. Ms. Dimoff maintains a private studio of both violin and piano students in the Shaker Heights home she shares with her musical family, husband Max (double bassist with The Cleveland Orchestra), daughter Isabel (cellist with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra), and son Xavier (saxophonist and double bassist).  Her many hobbies include reading, gardening, writing, yoga, and volunteering with her therapy dog Django in the Pet Pals program at University Hospital.
